New base. Same work ethos.

After running Oil Can from an office and separate storage facility, it was time for us to find a new place. A place where we could have everything together and change the way we function for the better.

Presented with an empty shell of a unit in a red brick building with industrial sized windows providing plenty of natural light, we knew we’d found our home. The blank canvass gave us the opportunity to divide the unit up to suit. We wanted to create a space that represented Oil Can in its look and feel. A place that would inspire us. A home from home during the working day.

Our collection of vintage oil cans, grease tins and automotive memorabilia line the large windowsills. Worn leather sofas with American west inspired throws and cushions provide a relaxed meeting area. Large vintage desks that were hunted down in local antique fairs provide a place to stir up new ideas and for us to keep the wheels of Oil Can in motion. Then when the daylight dims our barn find rusty ceiling pendants light the way.
