TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
We are driven to create honest goods that celebrate the craftsman and adventurers of the modern age. Oil Can honours the makers and the spirited who choose the road less travelled. Taking inspiration from people who follow their hearts through working with their hands.
ABOUT A THOUSAND MILES
Adventure is at the heart of Oil Can and our film project with Titch Cormack, an ex-military custom bike builder, follows him building the Oil Can custom bobber before taking it on an epic road trip to remember. Watch below.
MADE WITH PURPOSE
Our bespoke packaging is made with purpose. Engineered from a combination of tinplate and aluminium which are widely recycled, used tins can find new life once the product is gone. With the Grease Tins simply remove the inner aluminium sleeve and repurpose. From workshop shelves to adventurers backpacks they are a neat little storage tin.
Oil Can products are used and approved by Barbers the world over. We supply Barbershops across the globe who trust our products on their shelves. Tried and true. Make our hair styling and beard care products part of your grooming regime.
Supply Co. to the Trade. Forged for You.
OIL CAN X FRANK RIMER
Now we’re talking. With over 20 years in the profession, Frank is a pioneer of the barbering revival and custodian of tradition. Like many fine barbers, he’s put in the hours and served his time. OIL CAN X GIO THE NEW KID
Owner of Gio’s Chop Shop in Rotterdam and cutting hair for over 20 years. From the old school but forging his own path. Gio is a real character of the industry. Master of the craft. With education in his blood, when he isn’t behind the chair, you’ll find him sharing his wisdom with barbers across the world. Here’s a barber hell bent on serving and protecting the tradition.
OIL CAN X JOÃO PAULINO
The barbering maestro of the custom culture scene in Portugal’s Algarve. Dedicated to his clients and the tradition, João runs The Barberhouse in Loulé. Outside of the shop or cutting at custom festivals, you’ll find him engaged in his other passion. Riding his Harley Sportster. You won’t find a humbler man in the industry. A real gem of barbering. One of its best kept secrets.
